TERMS & CONDITIONS
Prior to any event that is booked with Afro Baobab Hospitality Services, the client must accept our quotation form in which they agree to our terms & conditions.

Due to the nature of our business, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to reserve a date and time for an event.
Payment in full is due no later than 2 days prior to the event date. This may be made via electronic transfer, cash, or cheque. The company reserves the right to cancel the event if payment has not been received in full.
We may postpone or cancel the event where forces outside of the company’s control such as bad weather, or other events which cannot be reasonably mitigated against, impact the running of the event. In this case, the company will return the full deposit in the event of forced cancellation.
Afro Baobab Hospitality Services reserves the right to substitute a comparable activity for another in the event of equipment failure or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Every effort will be made to change the event date when requested, although the company reserves the right to charge 10% of the event value. The charge may be higher when it has not been possible to cancel subcontractors or venues.
Due to the nature of our business, your deposit is not refundable.
Deposits can be transferred to another date if available, while transfers must be made no later than 15 days prior to the event date.
Events that are cancelled within 48 hours from the scheduled event, or where no one is present upon arrival at the address provided by the client, will be charged the full amount.
Guests are advised to arrive on time. As we have a specific schedule to follow and many activities aligned, events begin and end promptly.
Late arrival will not result to late ending.
Change in number of attendees
A reduction in the number of attendees does not result in a refund. If numbers are increased, please note that there will be a charge accordingly.
Diet & Allergies
All guests are required to inform in advance on any particular allergy and dietary requirements at least 7 days prior to the event. Afro Baobab Event is not responsible for any allergic reactions as a result of our products/food and services.
Afro Baobab Hospitality Services retains rights to images taken on behalf of the customer. Where the customer has paid for photography, the company gives the customer permission to use such images freely. The customer gives the company permission to use images or video taken during the event in company marketing and advertising materials.
